The Superintendent of Schools announces the following position within the Fall River Public School System:
Position: Site Facilitator for Programming and Operations– Modified Shift
Job Description: Serve as a member of a collaborative leadership structure within a secondary educational environment. Provide leadership for supervision and support of teachers and students in our afternoon and after school programming.
Promote a positive school culture through academic, SEL, and extracurricular activities.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Supervises facilities during after-hours programming and extracurricular activities, including CTE After Dark, Credit Recovery program, 21st CCLC program, Keeley Library, clubs, performing arts, and athletics.
- Works a modified shift as needed and scheduled by the agreement with the Principal to consist of eight (8) hours starting no earlier than 12:00 noon dependent upon the end time of activities.
- Assists the principal in the overall administration of the school, including operations of student lunches, dismissal procedures and student transportation, with a specific focus on after school activities.
- Assists in maintaining order throughout the facility and deals with special cases as necessary within the scope of the assigned activities.
- Serves with parent, faculty, and student groups as needed in advancing educational and activities and objectives.
- Assists with requisitioning of educational material and equipment needed for the orderly operation of the high school, including conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such material.
- Coordinate and supervise facility use and scheduling for school functions and for school events.
- Prepares reports on a periodic basis, or as required, as directed by the Principal.
- Performs supervisory tasks and responsibilities as the principal assigns.
- Any other duties as defined by the Principal.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree
- Appropriate Massachusetts License; Administrative Licensure required within (1) year.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in education, including equivalent experience at the appropriate license level.
The Superintendent of Schools reserves the right to waive a position qualification or determine that there is an acceptable alternative to that qualification. If the Superintendent intends to waive a qualification, such intent will be shared with the Fall River School Committee.

Terms of Employment: 195 day work year Salary $67,000 to $91,000 Closing Date for Applications: Until filled
