Talbot Summer Program
Background:
The 21st CCLC and the Gateway English Learners grant will fund a five week summer academic/enrichment program July 2– August 6, 2018. The program will operate Monday –Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The program will be held at: Talbot Innovation School. The focus of the summer program will be on improving language acquisition and student achievement through experiential learning and community service learning. In addition, there will be academic instruction provided to students to align to concepts taught in enrichment activities.
Position:

Summer Program Paraprofessional (preference will be given to bilingual candidates)

Responsibilities:
|
Including but not limited to:
- Assisting teachers and students throughout the day
- Assisting at snack and lunch time
- Assisting on field trips
- Assuming the responsibility of a bus monitor
|
Salary:
|
$14.92 per hour (contractual rate)
|

The program is contingent upon Fall River School Committee approval and the availability of funds
